Greetings From Borgenland

Hi everyone! This is Chris from the Borgen team. Hope everyone is doing great! Our team has been in the city of Tromso this week attending a lecture being hosted by Borgen's current DTS school and is being held at the University of Tromso. The lecture was being given by Vince Esterman, an Australian street preacher, who spent 20 years preaching in Paris. He not only gave lectures on evangelism, but to demonstrated his sketchboard evangelism on the University campus. Esterman stands and draws pictures that get people's attention, and uses it as a tool to present the word of God. It was pretty interesting. He would stand there in front of a sketchboard, draw what look like incomplete pictures, and have people guess what it was. He also used numbers. He would end by telling people he was a preacher, and inviting them to a seminar. Our role was to stand around and pretend to be interested students and hand out flyers to anyone that looked interested after the presentation was done. There will be a seminar held this coming Sunday, and the title is, "If God is good, why is there so much evil in the world?" (interesting subject I think, please pray for the seminar!) Earlier on today, 5 people gave their lives to Christ at a meeting. I don't have pictures from the seminar, but I am posting some pictures of our team took recently in Borgenland...
